Newtons law exposed by indians in 400AD

“Objects fall on the earth due to a force of attraction by the earth. Therefore, the earth, planets, constellations, moon and sun are held in orbit due to this attraction.”
I think you might have correctly guessed the meaning of the above lines. Obviously the meaning of these lines is parallel tothat of Newton’s Law of Gravity. But these lines are not said by the European scientist Sir Issac Newton. They are said by an Indian before Newton. Before Newton??? not one or two days before Newton, but 1200 years before the birth of Newton. Isn’t a surprise for us??? But it’s true…….
In Surya Siddhanta, dated 400-500 AD, the ancient Hindu astronomer Bhaskaracharya states these lines.
Approximately 1200 years later (1687 AD), Sir Isaac Newton rediscovered this phenomenon and called it the Law of Gravity.
Now we realize it is not Newtons Law of Gravity, it is Bhaskaracharya’s Law of Gravity.
